Q: How long will my furniture take to arrive once I've placed an order?
A: Industry standard is 8 weeks. Pieces can arrive sooner than our quoted lead time depending on stock availability. Some custom manufacturers quote longer lead times, 8-12 weeks to produce an order. Lead times are estimated and are based on several variables. They are not considered exact arrival dates.
Q: Does my furniture come with a warranty?
A: Yes. Coastal Furniture warranties apply to the original purchaser of the furniture. We assist the customer in the exercise of all manufacturer warranties. Most companies offer a 1 year complete warranty of their furniture with extensions on particulars. We will continue to service any product that we sell to the original purchaser regardless of how long he/she has owned the furniture provided that any needed parts are still available. This does not apply to furniture bought on Clearance or for Commercial use.
Q: What is the proper method of cleaning my furniture?
A: All furniture has different cleaning codes and cleaning instructions. You should consult the furniture manufacturers website or ask your sales person for the proper fabric cleaning code.
A few suggestions for cleaning & care:
WOOD CARE
- Maintain at least two feet between your wood furniture and home heating sources.
- Prolonged exposure to heat sources will cause the wood to dry out. Finishes will fade over time. You can slow the fading process by placing your wood furniture out of direct sunlight.
- Avoid extreme temperature or humid conditions.
- Use felt bumpers under lamps, statues, and vases to protect against scratches.
- Avoid over spray when watering plants or cleaning glass.
- Do not allow liquids to stand on wood surfaces. Use coasters under all beverages.

Spot clean with upholstery shampoo or mild dry cleaning solvent. Pretest a small, inconspicuous area before proceeding. Do not saturate. Pile fabrics may require brushing with a non-metallic, stiff bristle brush to restore appearance.

LEATHER CARE
A
Aniline Leather. Natural looking leather will feature noticeable range marks, barbed wire scars, wrinkles, scratches and brands. Subtle color and shading variations will exist from hide to hide and even within a hide. Keep leather clean by dusting frequently with a soft, clean cloth or by vacuuming with a soft brush attachment.
P
Pigmented or aniline-plus Leather. This leather has been treated to enhance stain resistance. It is more uniform in color and texture than aniline leather and will have fewer noticeable range markings. Keep leather clean by dusting frequently with a soft, clean cloth or by vacuuming with a soft brush attachment.
N
Nubuck Leather. This leather has been buffed to a velvety, suede-like nap. It is more likely to fade and stain and will feature noticeable range markings. Keep leather clean by dusting frequently with a soft, clean cloth or by vacuuming with a soft brush attachment.
Note: Always consult the manufacturers recommendations.
No cleaning method will remove every stain, and some stains can cause permanent discoloration even after the stain is removed. Keep your furniture clean, do your best to prevent accidental spills and give any stain prompt attention to maximize cleaning results.
